Cabana Rentals

Whether you're planning a company bash, a holiday party, a birthday celebration, or a special event, we've got you covered with our fantastic party cabanas.  Make your seasonal event truly memorable by hosting it at the Chico Ice Rink!

If your party isn’t private and you’d like to host during our business hours, our Cabana Rentals are an ideal option. Cabana rentals are 2 hours and include a private tent space with seating and skates included for 10 skaters.

Ice Rink Field Trips

We are excited to host you and your students for an exciting skating experience in the heart of Downtown Chico! The purpose of the ice rink field trip program is to provide students with a fun experience that promotes physical activity and confidence-building in a safe environment. Through supervised skating, participants develop balance, coordination, and resilience while engaging in a recreational activity that encourages a healthy, active lifestyle. The program also fosters social interaction, cooperation, and respect for safety guidelines, making it both a recreational outing and a valuable learning opportunity outside the classroom.

The Ice Rink will offer two 2-hour timeframes during school days aiming to book field trip accommodations for ~100 skaters per session. The goal of the Ice Rink Field Trip sessions is to provide skaters with 90-minutes of “on ice” time for each of the two sessions offered. The additional 30 minutes serves as check-in and skate distribution time. We recommend 1 chaperone per group of 10 students.

Ice Rink Private Rentals

Company gathering? Birthday party? We’ve got you covered! Regardless of the occasion – The Chico Ice Rink is the perfect setting for your winter party. Private party rentals during non-operational hours are available Monday–Friday from either 9–11 AM or 12–2 PM and from 9–11 AM on weekends and holiday weeks.
