Events

- The Event attendant plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction during events held at CARD parks and facilities. Traditionally, the Event Attendant performs a wide variety of duties related to customer service, custodial, and maintenance to ensure our facilities are open, ready for use, and maintained throughout the event.
- This flexible part-time job works well for the working professional, a college student, or someone wanting to put a little excitement in their life on the weekends. *Please note, this position is NOT for an event planner.
Inclusion
After School Program Inclusion Leader
- $17.50/hr, Seasonal

- Do you have experience and enjoy working with children with diverse needs? GET PAID TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN KIDS' LIVES! After School Program Inclusion Leaders will support elementary aged children who have diverse needs with academics and structured activities, and will help to create a successful, safe, and fun environment for participants. Inclusion Leaders will provide one-on-one or small group support with the goal of supporting participants to fully engage in the program.
- We are looking for applicants who enjoy and have experience working with children with disabilities and diverse needs, have a passion for promoting inclusion in recreational settings, are energetic, positive role models, responsible, and have strong behavior management skills.
Nature Center
Nature Center Recreation Coordinator
- $26.52 - $29.24/hr, Full-Time Non-Exempt

- The Recreation Coordinator, with general direction from a Recreation Supervisor or the Recreation Director, will assist in the development of District community recreation programs, events, and activities. The Recreation Coordinator plans, coordinates, and supervises recreation and community service programs in addition to directly supervising temporary/seasonal part time team members.
- This full time Coordinator position is based at the Chico Creek Nature Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding on the programming at the Nature Center and contributing to the overall success of CARD's Recreation Department. Administration of the Chico Creek Nature Center also includes supporting the care, cleaning, and hospitality of the Living Animal Museum. This involves working with and potentially handling animals including snakes, reptiles, insects, birds and mammals.
