Under Supervision of the Adult Sports Recreation Coordinator, the Adult Sports Officials will work to maintain discipline and encourage fair play, while demonstrating courtesy, self-control and integrity with coaches, players, and spectators during sporting events.

After School Program
After School Program Recreation Leader

As an After School Program Recreation Leader, you’ll work with students in grades 1–5, assisting with academics and leading structured activities in a safe, engaging environment.
Aquatics

- The Chico Area Recreation and Park District is looking to hire enthusiastic and energetic Swim Instructors to join our Summer 2025 Aquatics Team!
- With the general guidance and direction of the Recreation Coordinator and/or the Head Lifeguard, Swim instructors will create a positive learning experience by showing enthusiasm for the job and being organized and prepared for each lesson. Swim instructors must be confident in their ability to retain and demonstrate the information and skills of CARD’s Aquatics program while teaching.
Parks
- $18.82 - $20.75/hr, Full Time

- A Maintenance Worker performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, repair and maintenance of park and open space facilities, buildings, structures, and grounds. Employees work under general supervision, performing a full range of assigned duties, performing routine semi-skilled and skilled duties. They are trained to perform the duties which require a higher degree of skill and responsibility, including the operation of power equipment and pool maintenance.
