NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Chico Area Recreation and Park District, at its regular meeting of March 26, 2026, considered and adopted the Preliminary Budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year.  The adopted Preliminary Budget is available for inspection by members of the public at the CARD Office, 545 Vallombrosa Avenue, Chico, California or online at www.chicorec.gov/district-budget.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a public hearing will be conducted during the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chico Area Recreation and Park District at 4:00 p.m. on April 23, 2026.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Chico Area Recreation and Park District, at its regular meeting of May 26, 2026, will consider adoption of the Final Budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

This notice is in accordance with California Public Resources Code §5788.1.
