Located adjacent to the Dorothy F. Johnson Center in the Chapman neighborhood, this newly renovated 3-acre park offers a variety of recreational amenities. Chapman Park features:

  • A multi-use open turf play field
  • Two basketball courts
  • A futsal court
  • Splash pad (closed for the season)
  • Restrooms
  • Pavilion
  • Large playground
  • Picnic tables with barbecues

Chapman Park includes one picnic site available for rental, located next to the splash pad. It's an ideal venue for special occasions such as family gatherings, celebrations, and group outings. Chapman residents can picnic for FREE! Learn more about renting this beautiful space on our Picnic Rentals page. Please note that the splash pad is not included in the rental and is open to the public. The splash pad is currently OPEN for the season.

Bounce houses are allowed with or without a reservation, provided these three requirements are met:

  • It is self-powered (must have its own generator).
  • It is for day use only (not left overnight to avoid damaging the turf).
  • It is not a for-profit event (you cannot charge admission to the bounce house).

Water is on from 9:30 AM to dusk every day.

The splash pad at Chapman Park is open for the season! Cool off and enjoy some fun in the sun every day with this free, family-friendly feature. It’ll stay open through Labor Day Weekend (weather permitting), so grab your towels and sunscreen and come make a splash!
