Voices of Nature

A bird singing with musical notes, two turtles, and the text "Voices of Nature."

Voices of Nature: Saturday Series

Discover the stories nature has to tell.

Discover the wild side of learning at the Chico Creek Nature Center’s Voices of Nature: Saturday Series — a monthly adventure where curiosity comes alive! Each session spotlights a fascinating theme — from turtles and birds to snakes, frogs, and field research — brought to life by passionate guest speakers and our Animal Care Naturalists.

Meet our animal ambassadors, enjoy engaging talks and live demonstrations, and experience a few surprise moments along the way. Participants are even encouraged to dress up for each theme — whether it’s a birder’s binoculars or a frog-green hoodie.

Held on the last Saturday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday weekend), this lively, all-ages series blends science, storytelling, and community connection — celebrating the incredible voices of the natural world.
