The holiday season is just around the corner, and in partnership with the City of Chico, Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD) is excited to announce the return of the beloved Chico Ice Rink to Downtown Chico! Starting November 1, 2024, the Downtown City Plaza will temporarily close as crews begin transforming the space into a dazzling winter wonderland.

When the ice rink officially reopens on November 15, 2024, the community can enjoy ice skating in beautiful downtown Chico, along with special events, an adult ice broomball league, skating lessons, cabana rentals, and more. CARD is thrilled to bring this cherished holiday tradition back, offering even more fun, excitement, and magical memories for families and friends.
