Let Freedom Ring & Make A Splash with CARD at Chapman Park on June 29th

The Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD) invites families to its Let Freedom Ring event on Saturday, June 29th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the newly upgraded Chapman Park. Celebrate America with a splash at the new splash pad, listen to live music by the Chico Community Band and local musicians Emma & Will, and enjoy free traditional 4th of July foods like hotdogs and ice cream.
Event Highlights:
· Free Hot dogs served by Chico Firefighters Local 2734
· Free Savor Ice Cream
· NEW splash pad and playground
· American Flags provided by Chico Noon Exchange Club
· Culligan of Chico
· Members 1st Project Gratitude: Write a letter thanking our first responders, military, and service personnel

· KZAP 96.7 Classic Hits Rock with a Half-Court Shot Contest

· Facepainting
· Chico Velo Bike Valet
Enjoy the big, bold, and patriotic tunes of the Chico Community Band as they perform a collection of classic American music from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. Then, listen to local artists Emma & Will as this dynamic duo plays acoustic tunes with harmonizing vocals, covering a wide range of your favorite genres & decades from ABBA to Zac Brown Band to Taylor Swift, just to name a few.
