Little Bakers (Ages 5-7)

Little Bakers, preheat the oven! Join us in the Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen where each week, we mix and measure a delectable delight and bake up new friendships along the way. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and make learning in the kitchen exciting and accessible for all skill levels.

A Day-in-the-Life: Participants complete two stations: a hands-on kitchen station where they create a delicious treat and an activity station featuring chef skills, cooking-inspired crafts, and fun games.

What to Bring: All equipment is provided! Participants should wear closed-toed shoes and hair pulled back, and bring a water bottle.

Location: Dorothy F. Johnson Center Kitchen and Classroom, 775 East 16th St. When you arrive, enter through the front glass doors.

Little Bakers Winter Camps

Little Bakers, let’s bake up some winter fun! Join us in the Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen for three days of seasonal treats, sweet decorations, and hands-on fun. Each week has a delicious theme; choose Cookie Creations, Chocolate Shop, or both! Every day includes plenty of mixing, baking, games, and crafts. Come get creative, make new friends, and have snow much fun in the kitchen!

Junior Chefs

Junior Chefs, it’s time to get cooking! Join us in the Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen where each week, we whip up sweet and savory creations while learning kitchen skills, trying new ingredients, and having plenty of fun along the way. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and make learning in the kitchen exciting and accessible for all skill levels.

Preheat the oven and bring your creativity! Join the CARD Homeschool Baking Club in the newly renovated Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen. Each week, we’ll mix, measure, bake, and decorate a new sweet treat while exploring ingredients, techniques, and the delicious science behind baking.
