ShortE Batters (Ages 3-5)

Ready, set, swing! Batters ages 3-5 will step up to the plate to explore Tee-ball basics through playful movement games and beginner-friendly drills. From swinging a bat to running the bases, every session is packed with opportunities to try new skills, cheer each other on, and have a ball!

What to Bring: All equipment is provided! Participants should wear athletic clothing and closed-toed athletic shoes and bring plenty of water. General youth sports jerseys are optional and can be purchased at the CARD Office, 545 Vallombrosa Ave, for $18.

Location: Meet us at the Chapman Park Grass Field, 775 E. 16th St.

Weather: Programs canceled due to rain, heat, or air quality will be rescheduled for up to one week at the season's end or credited to your account. All updates will be posted at least one hour before the program starts at www.chicorec.gov/fields

ShortE All-stars

One program, so many ways to play! From soccer and flag football to basketball, tee-ball, golf, and more, ShortEs will explore a variety of sports through playful games and skill-building challenges. Each week brings a new adventure, with soccer kicking things off in Week 1!

ShortE Soccer

Kick, run, and score! Athletes ages 3-5 will explore the basics of soccer through playful movement games and beginner-friendly drills that get everyone in on the action. From learning to kick and dribble to celebrating every goal, ShortEs will build confidence, stay active, and have a ball!
