Owl Prowl

May contain: people, person, accessories, glasses, face, head, plate, and advertisement

Explore the world of owls, why they’re important to the environment, and native owl species local to our area. Come inside the lab at the Nature Center to dissect pellets to see how & what owls eat and learn about owl physiology and nocturnal behaviors. The event will end with a shorter walk around Lower Bidwell Park to look for our nocturnal friends. For the full experience and the safety of wildlife, we ask you to leave all pets and strollers at home. While all are welcome, this event will be geared more towards children. Classes range for about an hour. This is not a drop-off program; a responsible adult must accompany all children. Headlamps are recommended.
