Get ready for a week that sparkles! Join Chico Creative on a dazzling adventure where kids will create their own beaded suncatchers and jewelry! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, as they design sparkling accessories, string together colorful beads, and craft beautiful suncatchers that shine in the light.

Let your creativity run wild! Through drawing, crafts, games, and storytelling we’ll collaboratively forge the tale of a group of brave animals exploring the world in search of a new home. Campers will design animal characters, craft objects to help on their journey, and document their adventures in an artistic journal.

During our week together, we will do a variety of classic camp crafts. We will make beaded animal keychains, beaded bracelets, and learn to use basic bead looms. Students will also weave small bags, make woven mandalas, and tie-dye bandanas. There will be lots of variety and explorations of different materials in this camp.

Design and build your own miniature dream house! In this 5-day art camp, students will create, furnish, and decorate their own miniature cardboard modular houses. Students will enjoy this workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life. Emphasis on problem-solving and knowledge of materials and tools.

Travel the globe at Art Around the World Camp! Artists ages 5–12 explore cultures and traditions through drawing, painting, sculpture, and crafts inspired by global art styles. Campers build creativity, cultural curiosity, and confidence while creating vibrant projects from continents near and far. Bring a snack and water bottle daily. All supplies provided and included in cost.

Step into a world of music, magic, and movement in our Disney/Pixar Dance Camp! This high-energy camp is perfect for kids who love to dance, perform, and bring their favorite Disney characters and stories to life. Campers will explore fun, challenging choreography inspired by Disney favorites like Frozen, Encanto, Moana, Cars, The Incredibles, and Toy Story and all the classics!

Enter the wizarding world at Harry Potter Art Camp! Young witches and wizards ages 5–12 create magical art inspired by Hogwarts, fantastic creatures, and spells. Campers explore drawing, painting, and crafts while building creativity, imagination, and confidence in a fun, enchanted atmosphere. Bring a snack and water bottle daily. All supplies are provided and included in the cost.

Does your child love fairies, gnomes, woodland animals, and nature? Join us for this magical immersive fairy garden inspired camp. During this 5-day art camp, students will create a living fairy garden-scape to take home with handmade figurines, live plants, moss, rocks, and fairy houses. Put on your sleuthing hat and join us for a week of mysteries and storytelling! Work together to investigate monsters hiding in a village, play as magical characters solving a crime in an enchanted forest, solve a mystery in a wizard’s tower, and create your own mystery game to share.

Crafty kiddos, who love stuffies and imaginary play, will have a blast at this 4-day art camp. Students can bring their small stuffies to camp and create fun stuffie accessories like cute cardboard houses, beds, collars, outfits, etc. Students will enjoy the workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life.

Unleash your imagination and connect with nature at this one-of-a-kind art camp! Each day begins with an inspiring outdoor journey to Bidwell Park where campers explore the beauty of nature to spark their creativity. Then, they’ll return to a working artist’s studio to learn professional art techniques and create keepsake worthy arts and crafts. Art projects are thoughtfully designed to evolve with each session, so artwork will vary depending on the week your child attends. This allows returning campers to enjoy a fresh creative experience every time!

Get ready to dive into paint! In this vibrant summer art camp, young artists will explore the exciting world of contemporary painters while experimenting boldly with acrylic and watercolor. Campers will play with color mixing, layering, texture, and expressive brushwork to create artwork that feels personal and full of life.

Design, print and sell your own T-shirts with Pedal Press! Workshop participants will learn in our Fair St. studio, fundamental graphic design concepts, how to design for screen printing, how to prepare screens, and print their own t-shirts! Each participant will print a small run of T-shirts to sell at a local pop-up/Thursday Farmers’ Market. Campers can keep their remaining shirts or sell them on our Youth Art web store!

Get ready for a week of ooey-gooey fun! In this hands-on camp, participants will dive into the world of slime and sensory-based art projects, creating a variety of textures, colors, and interactive experiments that ignite all the senses.

Tie-Dye Camp offers the ultimate summer fun experience! Campers will begin by exploring color theory and experimenting with color mixing techniques of their choice. Next, they’ll dive into various folding and tying techniques, manipulating different materials through wet dyeing, dry dyeing, and ice dyeing methods. Each day, campers will create their own colorful masterpieces, which they’ll get to take home and share with friends and family.

Our Toddler Summer Camps for children ages 3-5, are led by our amazing, dedicated toddler staff and take place in our specially curated toddler classroom at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center.
