Get out in nature and unleash your creativity this summer! This hands-on camp is perfect for young LEGO enthusiasts who love to build, imagine, and explore. We will be taking daily walks to Bidwell Park to build forts and play along the creek before we return to the studio to build with Legos. Kids will participate in nature and Lego building challenges and competitions as well as Lego themed craft projects.

This cheerleading camp is designed to enhance your child’s coordination, confidence, and flexibility in a non-competitive environment, with the emphasis on FUN! Camp will start with a warm-up to music followed by instruction with constant movement and learning. Campers will learn basic movements, jumps, cheers, stunts, and a routine to music. There will be a mini rally for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Introduce your child to the great outdoors at Chi-Da-Ca, CARD’s longest running camp! Kids can’t help but have fun, get dirty and come home worn out from all the activity that takes place in Hooker Oak Park by upper Bidwell Park. The week is spent singing camp songs, going on nature hikes, playing games and cooling off with water activities.

This program provides outdoor exploration, builds friendships, and promotes a love for nature! Campers enjoy hands-on natural science labs, up-close animal visits, nature walks, arts and crafts, building tree forts, cooling off with water activities, and camp BBQ’s every Friday!

Some of our projects will include animal art, fairy houses, potions, little creature friends, and more. Enchanted Gardens & Dreamy Designs Camp at Chico Creative is a magical adventure where creativity and imagination come to life! Kids will join art instructor Jessica Mae, as they design their own fairy gardens, crafting tiny, enchanted worlds filled with charming details, and creating beautiful dream catchers to catch their sweetest dreams. With a mix of nature, art, and a sprinkle of magic, this camp is perfect for kids ages 6 and up who love to create, explore, and believe in a little fairy dust!

Playing games is super fun, but kids also learn so much about strategy, competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and even math! We'll play new games, group games, card games, dice games, active games, trivia, etc.

Working on a back handspring, back tuck or aerial? How about walk-overs on the beam or a kip on the bar. If you want to perfect those skills or continue to practice them, then this camp is for you. We’ll get serious with stretching, conditioning and focusing on those skills YOU’RE trying to achieve. With a bit of personalization this camp is like none other. Please bring water and a snack.

Let your creativity take flight as we dream up endless possibilities. Campers will learn the art of hand sewing to craft a unique and imaginative prop designed for movement and expression. Once their props are complete, it’s time to dance!

Our Little Athletes Sports Summer Camps are perfect for kids ages 5-7 to stay active, make new friends, and develop fundamental sports skills in a fun…

Little Ninjas wrestling will include mat games, tumbling, basic wrestling instruction and live wrestling. Focus will be on fun while teaching the basic skills in the sport of wrestling.

Open gym time will allow your child to practice their skills on their own. Coaches will monitor safe play and assist where needed. Although a coach will be on site, this is not a coach guided class.

Paint Dot & Splash Camp at Chico Creative is a fun-filled, hands-on adventure where kids can get creative with dot painting, guided painting, and pour painting! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, in making mesmerizing dot patterns, follow step-by-step instructions to create masterpieces on canvas, and experiment with swirling, flowing paint techniques to create one-of-a-kind artwork.

Pastel & Flipbook Imagination Camp at Chico Creative is an artistic adventure where kids bring their ideas to life through drawing, flipbooks, and pastels! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, as they explore shading and blending with pastels, experiment with different drawing techniques, and even create their own mini flipbook animations.

The petite bakery camp is a fun-filled delicious adventure! The bakers will start off with naming their bakery, designing the look, and choosing their themed treats. During the week, bakers will learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and brownies! On the last day of camp, they will open for business! Parents are encouraged to come visit the kid’s bakeries and try their delicious treats. Please bring a few dollars, as the last part of camp will be going over their profits as a business and they will bring a little hard-earned money home! Watch the delight in the baker’s eyes as they watch their bakery dream come true!

Get ready for a week of ooey-gooey fun! In this hands-on camp, participants will dive into the world of slime and sensory-based art projects, creating a variety of textures, colors, and interactive experiments that ignite all the senses.

Our cheer instructors will work with your beginner or experienced cheerleader. Work on stunts, pyramids and more while mastering flying or base skills. This camp also focuses on cheer jumps, with drills designed to help participants improve their technique and execution.

Sunbeams & Beads Camp at Chico Creative is a dazzling adventure where kids get creative with beaded suncatchers and jewelry making! Young artists will join art instructor Jessica Mae, as they design their own sparkling accessories, string together colorful beads, and craft beautiful suncatchers that shine in the light.

Campers will start off learning about color theory and experience ' hands on' mixology of colors of their choice. Then diving right into folding/tying techniques manipulating different materials, wet dyeing, dry dyeing, and also ice dyeing. Making their own creations each day. In which they will be able to take home and share their colorful creations with friends and family.

Get ready for game-based fitness fun designed to support your child’s physical and mental growth! This action-packed class is a dynamic blend of ninja training and boot camp. Kids will develop strength, balance, flexibility, and confidence through exciting obstacles, interactive games, and fun challenges.

In the ultimate restaurant camp students will start off with a small group to create a restaurant theme and name. Then, they will design a unique menu featuring an appetizer, entree, dessert, and specialty bread. The campers will plan out the restaurant design and begin making the food.

Get immersed in unicorns, fairies, and other enchanted creatures as you twirl, leap, chassé and plie your way through this magical camp. Dancing, stories, crafts, games, and more will make dreams come true. We’ll even put together a final day performance for families.
