Fly high at this unique circus themed camp. Learn basics on the lyra (hoop), aerial hammock and trapeze! Aerial arts is a type of performance in which artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from things like fabric or a hoop. Also, have fun with hula hoops, balancing skills, acrobatics and silly skits.

Get ready for a week of ooey-gooey fun! In this hands-on camp, participants will dive into the world of slime and sensory-based art projects, creating a variety of textures, colors, and interactive experiments that ignite all the senses.

Get out in nature and unleash your creativity this summer! This hands-on camp is perfect for young LEGO enthusiasts who love to build, imagine, and explore. We will be taking daily walks to Bidwell Park to build forts and play along the creek before we return to build with Legos. Kids will participate in nature and lego building challenges and competitions as well as lego themed craft projects. Hiking/water friendly clothing and footwear required!

Introduce your child to the great outdoors at Chi-Da-Ca, CARD’s longest running camp! Kids can’t help but have fun, get dirty and come home worn out from all the activity that takes place in Hooker Oak Park by upper Bidwell Park. The week is spent singing camp songs, going on nature hikes, playing games and cooling off with water activities.

This program provides outdoor exploration, builds friendships, and promotes a love for nature! Campers enjoy hands-on natural science labs, up-close animal visits, nature walks, arts and crafts, building tree forts, cooling off with water activities, and camp BBQ’s every Friday!

Design and build your own miniature dream house! In this 5-day art camp, students will create, furnish, and decorate their own miniature cardboard modular houses. Students will enjoy this workshop style learning environment where they can select the materials they want to bring their ideas to life. Emphasis on problem-solving and knowledge of materials and tools.

Join us for an action-packed Cheer and Tumble class where all levels are welcome! Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your skills, this class covers everything cheer. You'll learn, practice, and perfect tumbling, stunting, sharp motions, cheers, dances, and more. This is the perfect class to build strength, flexibility, and confidence while having tons of fun in a supportive environment. No matter your experience, you’ll leave energized and ready to cheer your best!

Can’t decide? Then get them both in the unique camp that will leave your camper wanting more. These two activities just go together like peanut butter and jelly. Enjoy some high energy dancing fun in our dance studio, then head over to our gymnastics gym to flip around.

Put on your sleuthing hat and join us for a week of mysteries and storytelling! Work together to investigate monsters hiding in a village, play as magical characters solving a crime in an enchanted forest, solve a mystery in a wizard’s tower, and create your own mystery game to share.

Campers will have a ball learning and practicing gymnastics skills. Camp will include stretching, conditioning and teaching of drills to build strong gymnastics skills. Crafts, games and open gym time make this camp a winner.

Open gym time will allow your child to practice their skills on their own. Coaches will monitor safe play and assist where needed. Although a coach will be on site, this is not a coach guided class.

This indoor, inclusive summer camp is designed for children and teens of all abilities, communication styles, and mobility levels, with a focus on supporting campers living with disabilities or with higher support needs. Our program provides a predictable, structured, and welcoming environment where campers can participate in ways that work best for them.

Little Ninjas wrestling will include mat games, tumbling, basic wrestling instruction and live wrestling. Focus will be on fun while teaching the basic skills in the sport of wrestling.

Ninjas in Training will build on the fundamentals while introducing more challenging skills and techniques. Athletes will work on improving balance, strength, coordination, and confidence on the mat, all in a positive and encouraging environment. The petite bakery camp is a fun-filled delicious adventure! The bakers will start off with naming their bakery, designing the look, and choosing their themed treats. During the week, bakers will learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and brownies!

Next, they’ll dive into various folding and tying techniques, manipulating different materials through wet dyeing, dry dyeing, and ice dyeing methods. Each day, campers will create their own colorful masterpieces, which they’ll get to take home and share with friends and family.
